Sally Anderson is the founder and director of Pilates International Studios and Pilates International Training Centre (PilatesITC), in Australia.

Sally initially trained in Pilates under Rael Isacowitz, who established Body Arts and Science Pilates (BASI Pilates). She became a faculty member for BASI Pilates in the 1990s and delivered instructor training throughout the world for many years.

After returning to Australia, Sally established the Pilates International organization. PilatesITC was the first Pilates training organization to achieve government registration and has set a benchmark for Pilates vocational training and education. PilatesITC is also a registered training organization with the Pilates Method Alliance (USA).

Sally is the founding president of the Pilates Alliance Australasia. She also co-founded the annual industry educational conference ‘Mind Your Body’, which has hosted some of the leading international experts in Pilates and associated disciplines.

Sally teaches formal Pilates qualifications and delivers continuing education to Pilates professionals throughout Asia Pacific and Australia. She also consults widely on the future development of the Pilates industry.
